About the Role
RAJBY Industries is seeking a creative and technically sound Product Developer in Karachi to lead apparel research, execute seasonal fashion collections, and coordinate wash/fabric developments with global fashion buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end garment product development from trend mood boards to commercial sampling and production handover.
- Analyze global fashion forecasts, fabric weaves, wash chemistry, finishes, and sustainable denim innovations.
- Collaborate with international buyers, merchandising, design, and sampling teams to build competitive collections.
- Evaluate garment costing, tech-pack feasibility, trims sourcing, and factory machinery capabilities.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or Fashion Merchandising from a recognized institute.
- 3 to 4 years of solid product development experience within export-oriented garment/denim manufacturing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of denim construction, specialized wash processes, pattern making, and buyer standards.
- Strong presentation, commercial negotiation, and cross-functional communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interacting directly with European and US apparel brand sourcing teams.
