About the Role
Punjab Transport Company (PTC) has advertised one Project Director post for its Project Management Unit (PMU) Staff in Lahore. The role is on a contract basis with a monthly salary of up to PKR 950,000, and applications close on 30-Sep-2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain liaison with government departments, T&MD, the P&D Board, the Finance Department, and executing agencies so that project matters move through the required channels.
- Supervise procurement, construction, financial management, and project implementation, keeping these four work areas under the Project Director's oversight.
- Monitor project timelines, costs, and quality standards, tracking progress against the schedule, budget and agreed quality levels.
- Coordinate with T&MD, PTC, the PMA project team, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to keep all parties aligned on the project.

Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in planning or management of large-scale infrastructure or development projects.
- Experience in procurement, contract management, project planning, and stakeholder coordination.
- Age limit: 18 to 50 years.
- Domicile is required for this position.
- Master's degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Project Management, or a related field, from an HEC recognized university.
- At least 15 years of post-qualification experience.
- Masters or Bachelors (Hons) with 16 years of education, as stated in the vacancy.
