About the Role

The Urban Unit, under the Planning and Development Board, invites applications for Research Analyst Economics (2 contract posts). Candidates with 16 or 18 years of education in Economics/Political Science and relevant experience can apply. Age limit 18-35. Apply by 06-Sep-2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis on economic development trends, draft reports and policy recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders on sustainable economic strategies.
  • Provide insights into market dynamics and socioeconomic impacts of various development projects.
  • Support in executing project activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.

Qualifications & Skills

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably in Economics and/or Political Science, from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • With 16 years of education: 1.5 to 3 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year preferred in the development sector.
  • With 18 years of education: 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Age limit: 18 to 35 years.
  • Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible.
  • Domicile is required for this position.
  • Develop frameworks for monitoring economic development indicators and assessing project impact.
