About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain high-reliability payment microservices in Go (Golang).
- Maintain zero-downtime card transaction processing across 1Link, Mastercard, and Raast instant payment switches.
- Optimize distributed database systems for strict consistency and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation with actionable metrics and distributed tracing via OpenTelemetry.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- 3+ years of professional backend software engineering with strong expertise in Go, Java, or Rust.
- Solid grounding in distributed systems fundamentals, concurrency patterns, and microservice resilience.
- Hands-on experience with transactional PostgreSQL and Redis caching.
- Strong focus on automated testing, continuous integration, and secure code practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in financial technology, banking payment switches, or cryptocurrency rails.
