Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports, advance and fund release requests, and other financial documents required by the donor and the Government.
- Review POs' Statements of Expenditure (SoEs) and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance, and oversee quarterly financial reviews of POs.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably in multi-stakeholder development projects.
- Experience in managing relationships with partner organizations is essential.
- Experience in accounting, auditing, financial management and reporting, including development sector related experience.
- Audit and advisory experience with a Big Four audit firm is an added advantage.
- Experience of supporting multi-stakeholder development sector projects, including community development and trainings, technical vocational education and livelihoods.
- Knowledge and experience of independently preparing the annual budget and work plan as well as periodic financial progress reports of the project.
- Experience of reviewing POs' Statements of Expenditure and handling the project's internal and external audits, donors' fiduciary reviews, including audits by the Auditor General's office.
- Age limit: maximum 52 years.
