Key Responsibilities
- Assist in approval of projects in line with the requirements of bilateral understandings between China and Pakistan and the rules and regulations of the Government of Pakistan, by giving expert advice on the structuring and appraisal of infrastructure projects.
- Prepare progress reports on infrastructure projects.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Age limit: maximum 50 years.
- Liaise with public, private and Chinese counterparts for infrastructure-related CPEC projects in an efficient and effective manner in the light of the long-term plan, and mature, prioritize and facilitate implementation consistent with best practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide facilitation and assistance to line ministries at all stages of a project lifecycle, including preparation of initial project investment proposals, preparation of feasibility studies, and appointment of consultants or advisors for project preparation feasibility study where required.
- Assist in the identification and management of any risks relating to infrastructure projects.
- One of these qualifications is required: MSc Economics; MSc Applied Economics; MA Economics; MS Transportation Sciences; MS Transportation & Highways Engineering; MBA (Project Management).
- One of these qualifications is required: MS Management Science (Finance); MS Management Sciences; MS Project Management; MSc Management Sciences; MPhil Business Economics; MS Finance & Economics.
- One of these qualifications is required: MPhil Management Sciences; MS Administrative and Management Sciences; MPhil Health Economics; MSc Project Management; MS Urban Infrastructure Engineering; MPhil Environmental Economics.
- One of these qualifications is required: MPhil Applied Economics; MS Management Sciences (HR); MSc (Hons) Agricultural Economics; MSc Development Economics; MS Agriculture Economics; MSc Urban Infrastructure Planning and Management.
