Key Responsibilities
- Execute core operational, administrative, and technical functions assigned to the Shariah Advisor role.
- Ensure strict compliance with Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited rules, official procedures, and standard operating standards.
- Prepare routine progress documentation, coordinate with team members, and report to the competent authority.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Alternative route: a postgraduate degree in Islamic jurisprudence or Usooluddin, or an LL.M (Shariah), together with a suitable certificate.
- Minimum seven years of experience as a Shariah Advisor in the Takaful industry.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience of teaching Islamic finance at reputable educational institutions in Pakistan, or those holding an M.Phil or Ph.D. in Islamic Finance.
- Age Limit Max: 55 years
- Shahadat ul Aalamiyyah degree (Darse Nizami) from any recognised Board of Madaris, plus a bachelor's degree recognised by HEC with a minimum of second class, and at least four years of experience issuing Shariah rulings in Fiqh ul Muamulat, including the period of Takhasus fil Ifta.
- The eligibility criteria list the following qualifications: BS Usuluddin (Islamic Studies), LLB Shariah and Law, MS Usuluddin (Islamic Studies), Shahadat-ul-Aalamia, MA Dars-e-Nizami, and BA Shariah Islamic Law.
