Stenographer G-II (BPS-14) & Junior Clerk (BPS-11)
About the Role
WAPDA invites applications from qualified candidates holding Balochistan domicile for the posts of Stenographer Grade-II (BPS-14) and Junior Clerk cum Computer Typist (BPS-11) in the HR Division at WAPDA House, Lahore.
Key Responsibilities
- Record dictation in shorthand and transcribe official minutes, office orders, and board communications.
- Manage computer typing, official correspondence, and personnel service records using MS Office and ERP.
- Organize branch filing systems, maintain confidential file tracking, and handle incoming official dak.
- Assist divisional heads in scheduling hearings, committee meetings, and record compilation.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- For Stenographer G-II: 2nd Class Graduation, MS Office proficiency, 40 w.p.m typing speed, and shorthand competency.
- For Junior Clerk: HSSC / Intermediate / I.Com with minimum 2nd Division and minimum 30 w.p.m typing speed.
- Age limit: 18 to 30 years (with applicable federal age relaxations).
- Valid Balochistan provincial domicile as per advertised quota allocation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified IT / Computer literacy course from a recognized technical vocational institute.
