Trainee Engineer MCC
About the Role
AirSial is inviting passionate engineering graduates to join its Engineering & Maintenance department as Trainee Engineer MCC in Karachi. This role offers hands-on operational training in airline maintenance control center operations and fleet technical management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Maintenance Control Center (MCC) engineers in monitoring daily commercial aircraft movements and maintenance activities.
- Track aircraft defect logs, deferred maintenance items (ADDs), and coordinate rapid line troubleshooting.
- Liaise with line maintenance stations, technical dispatch, flight crew, and logistics teams to support on-time departures.
- Maintain detailed engineering records, technical logs, and component status tracking in compliance with PCAA regulations.
- Participate in technical documentation updates, aircraft health monitoring, and incident reporting routines.
- Uphold stringent aviation safety, quality management, and standard operating procedures at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Avionics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering from an HEC/PEC recognized institution.
- Sound conceptual understanding of basic aeronautical engineering, aircraft aerodynamics, and avionics systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and real-time problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts including nights and weekends in a fast-paced airline operational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of relevant technical experience or internship in MCC or Line Maintenance within an approved Part-145 maintenance organization.
- Basic familiarity with Airbus A320 family aircraft systems and airworthiness documentation.
