About the Role
Samba Bank Limited is seeking a senior banking executive as Head of Retail Product Propositions based in Karachi. The role drives retail liability strategies, deposit product lifecycles, Roshan Digital Accounts, and digital banking acquisition funnels.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and lead the Bank's overall Retail Product Proposition strategy to accelerate deposit acquisition, customer retention, and balance sheet profitability.
- Oversee end-to-end product lifecycles for Current, Savings, and Term Deposit accounts across conventional and Islamic banking windows.
- Partner with Digital Banking squads to build intuitive digital onboarding journeys and automated Roshan Digital Account (RDA) funnels.
- Conduct in-depth portfolio analytics to identify customer cross-sell opportunities, attrition risks, and product profitability improvements.
- Ensure all retail product propositions, profit sharing tiers, and campaigns strictly comply with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- 12 to 15 years of relevant retail banking leadership experience with deep liability product management expertise.
- Thorough command of SBP Prudential Regulations, Roshan Digital Accounts, and digital banking platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of designing and scaling digital deposit propositions within tier-one Pakistani or multinational banks.
